Spin

Recently I came across a small desert cafe after leaving the movies with friends. Spin it was called. I just followed my nose and there it was. The smell coming from across the parking lot was absolutely delectable. I had to find out what it was that made my mind go blank in a cloud of sugary goodness. As I walked in to the “sex and the city” style hangout, I was welcomed with the most friendly of smile’s and greetings. As I scanned the menu, in the 70’s style paradise, my mind became bombarded with sugar plum fairies and sweet nothings of childhood. From Belgian, made in shop, ice creams, to decadent fruit and savoury crepes, to the rich hot taste of soothing dessert drinks, I had no idea how to choose. After spending 20 minutes trying to decide, I had finally chosen the raspberry cheese cake with white chocolate Belgium ice cream and white chocolate shavings. WOW. At first I thought the prices were a little steep for a desert, but then I seen the portion. No way was I finishing that alone. It is the perfect first date melody. The creamy goodness rested in my mouth and melted ever so simply, every bite was like a little piece of heaven. At the end of my experience, I would definitely recommend this wonderful little hot spot to anyone wanting a mouth full of flavour and quiet conversation.
